1. Delete while signed in
Use the deletion control above for immediate self-service deletion. Authentication is the identity check; Oddzy does not require a support email, phone call or identity document from a signed-in account holder.
2. If you cannot sign in
- Email privacy@oddzy.in from the email address associated with the Oddzy account, using the subject “Oddzy account deletion request”.
- State that you want the account and its associated personal data deleted. Include the account email address if it is not obvious from the message.
- Do not send a password, one-time code, identity document or payment information in the initial request. Oddzy will never ask for your password.
If you no longer control the account email, explain that in the message. We will tell you whether another proportionate verification method is available.
3. Verification and timing
For an email fallback request, we verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting or disclosing personal data. A reply from the account email or another limited confirmation may be required. The request is normally completed within 30 days after verification, or within the different period required by the law that applies to you. We will explain if a lawful exception or unusually complex request requires more time.
4. Data deleted with the account
After a valid request, Oddzy deletes or irreversibly de-identifies the account’s authentication record and associated email address, full name, refresh sessions, verification metadata, terms-acceptance metadata, any member profile data and any saved user-submitted predictions held for the account. The account’s free-trial dates and its link to any App Store subscription are deleted too. If password authentication was used, the authentication provider’s secure password representation is deleted with that account record. If a third-party sign-in provider was used, the Oddzy-side provider identity link is deleted; this does not delete the separate account you hold with that provider.
An access token already issued to a device is short-lived and expires on its normal schedule, but it cannot be refreshed after deletion and the deleted account's private rows are removed by database cascade.
Oddzy’s append-only sports forecast and verified-result records are not user records and are not linked to an account, so deleting an account does not alter that sporting-event evidence.
5. Limited retention
We may retain only the minimum information necessary to document and honour the deletion request, meet a legal obligation, prevent fraud, protect security or resolve a dispute. Technical logs expire or are aggregated under operational retention settings. Encrypted backups may retain a residual copy until the normal backup cycle overwrites it; they are not used for ordinary operations or marketing. Any lawful retention exception is limited to its required purpose and period.
The one-way free-trial eligibility code described in the Privacy Policy is also kept after deletion. It contains no email address, name or account ID, and is used only so the same email address does not receive a second free trial.
If the account bought or restored an App Store subscription, Oddzy also keeps its App Store purchase evidence after deletion: Apple’s signed transaction and notification data, including transaction ids, the product, dates, the environment, and revocation or refund status. It keeps the account-binding audit too, which records the account each purchase was linked to and can include the deleted account’s internal user id. Both are kept to keep refunds and subscription history correct, prevent refund fraud, handle billing disputes and meet legal obligations. Oddzy never receives card or bank details, because Apple processes payment.
